It’s a very colourful city and has a rich Afro Brazilian culture. From music, dance to food, it offers some of the best experiences in the country. Pelourinho is one of the oldest sites here but has a very sad past and is known as the place where slaves were publicly beaten and flogged. The Bay of all Saints is the largest in the country and is one of the reasons why the city was built here. Saõ Marcelo Fort, Museum of Modern Art, Salvador’s Rodin Museum are all places you must definitely visit here.

Rio Vermelho is the hipster neighbourhood and has a vibrant nightlife. Elevador Lacerda is two elevators that run parallel which you can use to view the two levels of the city.
